Quit Now Virginia is the free, state cessation quitline funded by the Virginia Department of Health Tobacco Use Control Project. Services are provided to Virginia residents aged 18 and older (and pregnant teens), with tailored counseling provided to pregnant/perinatal smokers. Print materials are available in English and Spanish and Spanish-speaking Quit Coaches are available.
VDH-TUCP contracted with Free & Clear, Inc., to provide the quitline counseling services. Free & Clear is a highly specialized tobacco treatment provider for health plans, employers and government organizations all over the USA.
